Ways to Give to Freedom Farm
There are many ways to donate to Freedom Farm. In addition to the monetary options below, Freedom Farm welcomes donations of appropriate horses (see The Horses page), farm equipment, office equipment, feed & hay, and many more services and items (see Wish List page). Call us at 952-955-2505 with any questions. Since Freedom Farm is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit, all financial and in-kind donations are tax deductible.
1) Provide a scholarship for a rider in need to be able to participate.
You can set up your donation for an amount equal to one rider’s seasonal riding session ($225-360, depending on the session – Spring, Summer A or B, or Fall) or cover a rider for one full year ($1,225) or contribute in any amount.
2) Sponsor a horse.
Our therapeutic riding horses cost $6,500 a year to feed and care for. Help us meet their needs! Any amount is appreciated! If you donate a full sponsorship of $6,500, you will receive a photo of your sponsored horse and updates.
3) Find out if your employer matches donations of time or money to non-profits
You can double the impact of your donation, if your employer has a matching gifts program. Here is a list of businesses in the Twin Cities area providing matching gifts to non-profits. If you don’t see your employer on the list, ask the human resources department or busines manager.
4) Name Freedom Farm in your estate planning.
Freedom Farm welcomes planned gifts and trust fund donations. Have your legacy continue on here at Freedom Farm!
3) Become a corporate sponsor.
Freedom Farm welcomes donations from corporations to continue and grow our operations. To contribute to our Lake Ida Schoolhouse reconstruction project to provide classroom space for our youth and a confidential meeting space for our veterans, go to Lake Ida Schoolhouse.
4) Contribute to the Polo Event.
You or your business can be a sponsor and/or reserve a VIP Tent to watch the Polo Match. For more information go to our Polo Fundraiser Page.
