After a hard winter and wet spring, and like a lot of farms, Freedom Farm has had a lot of challenges. There is a ton of hard work that goes on behind the scenes every day to keep our riders safe and the farm and horses running smoothly.
Sadly, two essential pieces of equipment we rely on daily have run out of steam. Our truck, used for hauling hay, feed, and pulling the trailer became unsafe and required too many costly repairs to justify fixing. The tractor could no longer keep up with the heavy work required and a skid steer will serve our needs better.
Thank you to everyone who helped raise a total of $5,500 for the new Freedom Farm Truck. It is paid for!!
We still have a $12,000 loan for the Skidsteer that needs repaying ASAP in order to make sure our funds are always directed toward essential programming first and foremost!
