My Name is Echo

I am colorful and move like I am dancing.

I love to walk and trot. I walk in a big way that really moves my kids in a unique fashion that improves their balance and core strength. 

I may only be 14 hands high, but when my kids sit tall on my back, together we are gigantic.

I see tears of joy from parents when my kids, who have never spoken or are trying so hard to get words out, say “walk on” loud enough for me to hear. I turn my ears so they know I heard them and I start walking.

Horses Change Lives Campaign


Freedom Farm is promoting our Horses Change Lives Campaign this spring to help raise funds for our valuable therapeutic riding horses. In previous years, we collected donations at the Riding Celebration in October; however, that put our two main fundraisers only a month apart. We decided to separate the two by moving the Horses Change Lives Campaign to the spring and summer.  Please help us cover the costs of the 10 therapeutic riding horses here in residence at Freedom Farm by collecting change and donations.

Here’s how it works:
Take a change jar with your favorite horse’s photo home and collect loose change in it.  You can also take a change jar to work or give to friends or family members so they can join in the fun!


Then, bring your change jar back to Freedom Farm and deposit it in your horse’s collection container on the bench below the white board by the office.


Each week we will tally the totals for each horse and update the horse race display in the arena. 


Freedom Farm welcomes any other donations as well.  Checks can be made out to Freedom Farm and mailed to us at 11500 Ferman Ave. SW, Waverly, MN 55390.  OR, you can pay online using the Donate Here button on our homepage. Be sure to write the horse name in the memo line!
