Horses Stories

My name is Moon.

I help build great horsemanship skills as I challenge my riders to be the best they can be.

I will clearly let my person know if they are not in correct position when learning to lunge as I will stop and look at them.

I help riders reflect on themselves and build character as I mirror their attitude.

I love, love, love people. I show how much I love the person who just got off my back by giving them a big smile! It makes them laugh so hard so I just keep smiling. We both leave the arena filled with joy.

My Name is Oliver

I form strong connections with all my riders as I listen to their very subtle cues.

I instill confidence in all who work with me and together we work on patience. Because I am tall, I spend my days with teens and veterans. We have a blast! I know so much and love to teach them new things like leg yielding and how to canter.

I may be tall, but when my person stands next to me, I lower my head, our eyes connect and our souls are forever changed.

Thank you Holly Richmond for sponsoring Oliver!

My Name is Rebel

I provide comic relief to all my riders.

I love to hear my riders laugh and giggle when I make a funny face or knock over a cone.

I have smooth gaits and am great for learning to trot and canter. I really like to challenge my riders, which keeps them engaged throughout the lesson.

Thank you to Judy Figge for sponsoring Rebel for the year!!

My Name is Cassie

I am beautiful, bold and my spirit is strong.

I am most proud when the most fragile are on my back, they make my heart soar. I am so careful to keep a steady beat to my rhythmic smooth walk. When they are back in their chair, I say thank you by putting my head in their lap.

I also help some become independent riders as I adjust to their needs. I am forgiving to their mixed cues which helps their confidence.

Thank you to K-Bid Online Auctions for sponsoring Cassie!

My Name is Candy

I move around the arena effortlessly and love to be on the go.

My strong steady gaits gives the riders I partner with freedom of movement.

Together we feel free and move with ease.

I provide my riders with Freedom of Balance, Movement and Expression.

Thank you to Matt Gulseth for partially sponsoring Candy!
