About freedomfarm

freedomfarm is an exceptional center providing therapeutic riding but also incorporating sensory, cognitive and social stimulation to build skills and confidence. This is possible because our class sizes are small, typically 3-4 riders. We offer Spring, Summer and Fall sessions, from April through November, with weekly one-hour lessons for our riders. And that hour is their hour; their time to be stars!

We believe your child's time here is very special so we make every moment count. They are either grooming their horse or on their horse -- not waiting in line to mount! At freedomfarm meeting the needs of our riders is more important than volume.

We strive to procure sufficient funding to maintain reasonable fees and make lessons affordable. We want access to the program to be based on need and potential benefit, not on the ability to pay.

freedomfarm is a 501(c)(3) organization and a premiere accredited center endorsed by the NARHA (North American Riding for the Handicapped Association). Please visit the NARHA web site to learn about therapeutic riding and who may be candidates to benefit from therapeutic riding.

Please contact us by phone at 952-955-2505 or
by email at freedomfarm@hotmail.com

We'd like to remind you that freedomfarm now accepts donations via PayPal.

Thank you for your continued support!

We would like to extend an invitation to you to become a member of NARHA. Please visit their web site, www.narha.org, for more information.

With your membership you will receive NARHA STRIDES, a quarterly publication, and support the organization we are accredited with.

VOLUNTEER!

Do you have 1 hour a week to spend with a child who's smile will melt your heart?  It's so easy. Each student needs 3 volunteers:  2 sidewalkers and 1 leader.

Sidewalkers walk on each side of the rider while they are on the horse.  A leader is the person handling the horse.

If you would like to be on our mailing list, please email freedomfarm@hotmail.com .

2008 Volunteer Training Dates!

The next Volunteer Training will be Tuesday, September 2.  Times TBA

Please call or email freedomfarm@hotmail.com if you would like to sign up.
